Tahja has asked tribe.net to cancel her tribe. For those of you who don't know me, I'm one of Tahja's best friends. I spoke with her at length today, and she asked me to share some information with all of you.
T's life is very complicated at the moment due to extended family issues and a possible cancer scare. There is not a definitive diagnosis yet, but it is entirely possible that she has melanoma.
Due to these issues, the DVD has been put on the back burner indefinitely. Those of you who pre -paid for the DVD will receive a refund. I've been T's friend for 9 years and she is one of the most ethical people that I've ever known. Please be patient with her during this time. You will receive your refund.
Tahja also asked me to mention that she trusts Nari as the moderator if Nari decides not to cancel this tribe.

I knew something serious had to be going on when she just disappeared, a behavior so out of character for her. Give her a big "boobie-smashing" hug for me.

At this point, we have three options for this tribe:
1. I can cancel the tribe.
2. I can leave the tribe open as is so Tahja has a tribe to return to.
3. We can keep this tribe, change the name, and use it for something else.

We love her immensely.
Nari Nari is an awesome person to be Moderatrix....I vote to leave the tribe open so we can be here when T comes back.

This is the first I've heard of this news. Somehow I fell off being on this tribe :-(
but being busy and semi-disconnected from tribe for a few months for personal reasons, I didn't notice this disconnect.
I hope all goes well with Tahja, and while I've only spoke with her once although email'd a lot, I *know* she's a great person and to have bad news is a blow :-(
Please keep this tribe so we can send good wishes and hear of any updates she wishes to share.
This year has been strangely full of bad health news about many of my friends (and my mother too).

I'm sorry that I haven't replied before now - my laptop has been wonky for some time, so this is the first chance that I've had to check back into tribe. I'm having to deal with a lot of drama in my own life right now - so tribe had not been a priority. I'll post the details in my blog once I have more than 5 minutes of free-time.

Thu, March 27, 2008 - 7:07 AMIt's not that I have a "drive" to delete the tribe, but I am pretty sure after several months of inactivity that updates probably won't be posted here. Also, this is a tribe for someone who is no longer a member of tribe. So, again, I would think that updates would not come to this tribe. I adore Tahja and hope she is well, and I am only interested in doing what the members of this tribe think is best.
I have spoken to one of her close friends and as of about two months ago, the friend only reported good news about Tahja. She said Tahja was doing well and was very happy.
I'm not for or against deleting this tribe, honestly, and my main reason for posting is only to see if people want this tribe to remain active. I thought I'd ask because no one has posted anything -updates or inquiries- in many months.

Fri, April 11, 2008 - 8:12 PMWell, I've never gotten a reply to any emails sent through the website or a refund. I don't see any harm in leaving the Tribe up. The website still reads that the Arms II DVD will be out February 2007.
